A rectangular purple inkstone, with a circular shallow recess in the wide center of the inkstone hall, receives ink, and a small pool with Ruyi cloud pattern is dug at the head of the inkstone. The back of the inkstone has wide ridges around it, and the central concave is engraved in regular script with the inscription “Out of the Heavenly Han Dynasty, better than jade, carved for research, pure and refined, and ordered several literary works to be saved repeatedly.” And the seal “For Yongbao” shall be affixed. There are yellow inlaid green pine stone rose inkstone boxes.
