Oval purple inkstone. The whole instrument is plain and without lines. The back of the inkstone has wide ridges around it. The central concave is engraved with an inscription in regular script: “Out of the Heavenly Han Dynasty, better than jade, carved for research. It is pure and refined, and several literary works have been repeatedly saved. The Emperor Qianlong’s inscription.” And the seal “For Yongbao” shall be affixed. There is an inkstone box with yellow and green pine flowers carved with hemlock flowers.
