The rectangular ink has six dragons around the ink surface along the four sides. The dragons at the upper and lower ends are all positive. The dragons on the left and right long sides are flying on the side. The central space of the ink surface is filled with gold “Tianfu Longxiang” regular script inscription. The other side is patterned with the Fushan Shouhai pattern. There is a circle in the middle of the upper half, which seems to represent the sun. There is regular script of “Ding Nanyu” on the ink side. Ding Yunpeng was famous in the Ming Dynasty. His character is Nanyu. The pattern in Cheng’s Ink Garden in the Ming Dynasty shows the mark of “Nanyu”, but it is different from the one printed on the side of this ink.
