- Description:
The whole vessel is composed of four cylindrical bottles, all of which are in the shape of skimming mouth, short neck, deep belly, flat bottom and shallow feet. The inside and outside of the whole work are covered with Ru green porcelain glaze. The glaze color is bright and moist. The bottom edges of the four bottles are exposed with brown bodies. The bottom of each bottle is made of four character seal characters, namely “Yong”, “Zheng”, “Nian” and “Zhi”, written in blue and white. This kind of production, which connects four identical vessels into one, has not been seen in the previous dynasty, and can be said to be one of the innovative vessels of Yongzheng official kiln. There are many similar objects in the courtyard, but this one is special. The central space enclosed by its four bottles is not as well connected as other similar objects in the courtyard (such as China Porcelain 218 and China Porcelain 1526). Maybe we can further investigate its cause.
