  • Function: Food utensil
  • Material: Minerals/Ceramics/
  • Description:
The shape is like a bean of ritual vessels. The upper part is a straight wall shallow plate, and the lower part is a long shin with high feet. The outer wall is decorated with underglaze cobalt blue glaze. The upper half of the outer wall is decorated with repeated geometric patterns connected by curved hooks. The lines are rounded and pointed at many places, like curling grass. The outer wall of the shin is painted with dragons playing with fire beads on the waves of the sea. There are many white places left on the top of the waves, creating a sense of speed as white as brush silk. Flowers are decorated in the waves. The flowers stand still, not affected by the waves. They are very interesting. In the horizontal blue and white script on the inner wall of the foot, the seal character is “made in the year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty”.
