Description:
Skim mouth, deep wall, round foot. The whole body is painted with alum red, and the inside and outside of the mouth and foot are decorated with red background and white Ruyi. A poem made by the Emperor Qianlong is written on the white ground outside the cup, and lotus flowers and leaves in the pool are painted on the inside. The periphery has the same Ruyi pattern as the mouth and foot for one week. The carcass is light and thin, with fine texture and bright red color. “Made in the year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty”, a six character, three line seal script, is written in alum red on the bottom of the vessel. The imperial poem written on the outer wall is “Cooking Tea with Lotus Dew” written by Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty in the 24th year of Qianlong’s reign (1759, Jimao): “In autumn, the dew on the lotus leaves flows, and the handle is poured in. The white emperor’s spirit is green and feminine, and the bamboo tripod in Huishan is Yue. Learn from the immortal and laugh at the gold plate. It is appropriate to sing Xin’s jade milk floating.
