Blue jade, full of red brown. It is suspected to be a fake of the late Ming Dynasty with the imitation of the Han jade. The carving is in the shape of a dragon, with its head connected to its tail. The edges of the lines are carved with thin lines, with the same pattern on both sides. In the Qing Palace, this piece of jade was stored in a drawer with nine other pieces of jade (hence jade 1694-1703), and was put in a paint box with ten pieces of jade, calligraphy and painting in another drawer.
