- Image Number: K1C003067N000000000PAC
- Dynasty: Qing dynasty
- Category: Jades
- Function: furnishings
- Material: Minerals/Jade Jewelry/Jade
- Description:
It is made of sapphire, and the thin yellow jade skin is the color of mountain rocks. One side is flat cut and the other side is bulging, which may be the reuse of leftover jade. Both sides of the cave are carved and milled inward into a rock cave impacted by the torrent, which is winding and well arranged. The convex surface of the drum has boats shuttling through it. The boat is low in the front and high in the back. With the boatman leaning forward to steer, the current rises and falls rapidly, giving a sense of mobility that “the boat has passed the mountains”.
