The workmanship is meticulous and the patterns are gorgeous. The shape and part of the ornamentation of this work are imitated from the bronze Lei of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, and the ornamentation is made of the filigree enamel technology prevailing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
