- Description:
The fragrant wood of Solanum nigrum looks towards the beads. There are 108 Solanum nigrum beads. Add a pink tourmaline bead Buddha head every 27 beads. The tourmaline is pink and transparent, which is in contrast to the dark brown color of the wood beads. Each of the three twists is decorated with pink tourmaline beads, and a jasper pendant is underneath. On both sides of the Buddha’s Head Pagoda, two colored rice beads are strung with silk, and a long yellow ribbon connects the jasper back cloud and the falling horn. It is a special tradition of the Qing Dynasty to use the “imperial bead” as an ornament hanging on the chest of emperors, ministers and life wives when wearing imperial or auspicious clothes. In the “Imperial Ritual Ware Pattern”, which was ordered by Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty, it was clearly listed that people of various ceremonies and different identities must use a specific form of the imperial bead. It can be seen that the Qing government took this decoration tradition as a fixed pattern.
