Shaped like a bronze goblet, the neck and foot cone arches are carved with banana leaf patterns, the abdomen is decorated with coiled Kui patterns, and the gaps are decorated with two circles of moire and cloud patterns, the whole body is covered with peacock blue glaze, and the foot circles are exposed with white bodies. The use function of bronze ware in the late Ming Dynasty has changed. A bronze goblet can be used to make soy sauce after being “sealed with a tin sleeve”. Or because the bronze ware itself has been gradually used in various occasions of life, and affected by the influence, porcelain kilns have also started to imitate the shape and decoration of bronze ware to produce daily utensils. This product was produced from the official kilns in the early Qing Dynasty. The shape and decoration of the imitation bronze ware are reminiscent of ancient times. However, the blue glaze of peacock on the surface of the ware has the origin of foreign culture behind it. The blending of ancient and new is not necessarily a creation that combines the ancient with the new.
