Wang Shiyi, a native of Taicang, Jiangsu Province in the Qing Dynasty, was a native of Wujun (now Suzhou, Jiangsu Province). He was good at painting landscape characters. The landscape was inspired by Li Tang. He was powerful and ancient. His characters were like Song Xu and Cui Zizhong. He was the younger brother of Wang Shimin, one of the four kings in the early Qing Dynasty.
