- Description:
Queen Mother of the West is a goddess in ancient mythology, also known as Queen Mother. It is said that he has a peerless appearance, and a large group of fairy maidens are accompanying him. He once gave the flat peach, which is the fruit of 3000 years, to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Most of the later novels and dramas are based on this as the story of the peach feast. It is said that the third day of the lunar calendar is the Queen Mother’s Christmas, and all the immortals come to celebrate their birthday. The Queen Mother sets a peach banquet in the Yaochi where she lives to reward the immortals. The fifth chapter of Journey to the West, “The Great Sage of Pantao steals pills, and the gods of the Anti Heavenly Palace catch monsters”, is a lively plot developed from this legend.
