Kesi is a silk weaving process with a long history and special techniques. It is woven by using the method of breaking the warp and weft, changing the color and thread, and the woven pattern is the same on both sides. Because the patterns woven by different colors of weft threads are not related to each other, there will be serrated gaps around the pattern shape, so it is also called “carving”.
