  • Description:
This bowl has a long mouth, a deep arc wall and a short circle. The inside of the utensil was plain without lines. One side of the outer wall was smeared with ochre ink. The stones were full of yellow xuan flowers on both sides. There are two oriole birds on the stone, either looking up or looking back. Looking down the oriole’s eyes, you can see a tall and upright pomegranate tree, on which there are many fruits, and the fresh fruit is red. On the other side of the outer wall, there are two lines written in ink: “wax beads are gathered as peduncles, and the nets are cut into pieces.” The lines are from the neck couplets of Wen Tingyun’s five character poem “Haiguai” in the Tang Dynasty. There are three red ink seals in front of the poem, “Jiali”, and behind it, “Jincheng” and “Xuying”. The bottom of the utensil is provided with two lines of blue Song typeface made in Yongzheng year.
