The bowl has a wide mouth, a deep arc wall, a flat bottom, and a shallow circle of feet. The inside of the bowl is painted with white glaze. A white edge is left on the mouth edge and the foot bottom edge. The surface is painted with red color. A white plum tree and several green bamboos are painted on the surface. The painted branches, leaves and flowers are outlined with black lines, and then filled with color. The plum branches are vigorous, showing the shadow of branches and trunks in black, and occasionally dyed with black and white contrast of green and mild branches and trunks; The bud, bud and flower features of the white plum are diversified, and the front, side and slope of the white plum are all in various poses. The green thin lines are used to draw the filaments, and the yellow dots are used to draw the stamens, which are extremely delicate. The overall composition and brushwork are similar to the performance of flower and bird painting. The branches and leaves are scattered in an orderly manner, expressing the theme of “Plum and Bamboo Before Spring”. The feet are exposed, and the bottom of the bowl has a blue book “Made in Yongzheng” with Song typeface on both sides.
