  • Description:
The bowl has a long mouth, a deep arc wall, a flat bottom, and a shallow circle of feet. The carcass is white and delicate. It is a pair of ancient porcelain 17690. The composition is similar. On the white ground of the outer wall, slope stones, flowing water, green bamboos, white plums and camellia are painted, and twelve magpies flying or resting in the space are decorated. The gestures are different, many of them are interactive, and the painting is meticulous. The painted branches, flowers, leaves, bamboo and stone slope banks are outlined in black, and then filled with color. One side of the poem is inscribed in ink with the words, “Several times the wind blows to the Jade House, and it is passed on from time to time to the Jade Chi.” The poem is adapted from “Que” written by Han Ju of the Tang Dynasty. At the beginning and end of the poem, there are three seals, namely, “Phoenix Picking”, “Longevity Ancient”, and “Fragrance and Purity”, written in red ink. In the bowl, the white glaze has a plain surface without lines, and the feet are exposed. At the bottom, there are two lines of Song typeface made in the year of Yongzheng, plus two side frames.
