  • Material: Mineral/ceramic/porcelain
  • Description:
This bowl has a long mouth, a deep arc wall and a short circle. The interior is plain without lines. One side of the outer wall is smeared with ochre ink and dyed with beautiful stones. Xinhuang grows on both sides of the stones with many branches. The ink color contrasts with the dark color. The ink is fresh and moist, showing the natural and elegant posture of bamboo and stone. On the other side of the outer wall, there are two lines written in ink: “It’s not smoke, it’s not fog, it’s green, it’s like rain, it’s like sunshine, and it’s cool in three paths.” The lines are from the supporting couplet of Bai Li’s seven character poem “Bamboo Yin” in the Yuan Dynasty. There are three red seals in front of the poem, “Phoenix Picking”, and behind it, “Binran” (in white) and “Gentleman”. The bottom of the utensil is provided with two lines of blue Song typeface made in Yongzheng year.
