  • Description:
Open the plate, lower the arc wall and circle the foot. The inside and outside of the utensil are covered with yellow glaze, and the yellow ground on the outer wall is decorated with green rosette leaves arranged at equal intervals. Because the branches are curved, the overall decorative effect is also like continuous twig flowers and leaves. The blue and white script “made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty” with three lines and six characters is printed on the white ground inside the circle foot. In addition, the curly branches, flowers and leaves decorated on the outer wall were pre carved on the matrix before adding low temperature green glaze on the yellow glaze ground. The yellow glaze ground color can also be seen in some parts not covered by the green glaze. This kind of first carved yellow ground green glaze was made in the Ming Dynasty. The Zhushan site has a yellow glaze green color ware from the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. The handed down yellow glaze green color ware can be traced back to the Hongzhi dynasty of the Ming Dynasty. For example, the works of this piece were also fired in the Jiaqing Dynasty. It can be seen that this kind of yellow glazed green color ware has a long tradition of firing.
