The white stone rectangular basin, with mouth skimming, corner corner and flat bottom, is extremely shaped and elegant. The four sides of the wall are embossed with intertwined dragon patterns, and the dragons look back to make a relative shape. The mating place is formed into a wishful knot or a bat pattern, forming auspicious meanings such as “Double Dragons Gongfu”. According to the collection number of the “bird” dictionary of the white stone flowerpot, this exhibition piece was originally collected in the basin storehouse of the Dagaodian outside the Forbidden City. This kind of flowerpot has a wide range of uses. It is applicable to all hydrophilic plants, such as narcissus, cymbidium or moss stone.
