The rectangular She Inkstone is green and clean, with ink eyebrow patterns and brush silk patterns. The surface of the inkstone is carved in the form of a bottle. The inkstone hall is wide and flat, and the pool forehead is carved in a shallow way to imitate the ancient Kui dragon playing with a pearl troupe. Above the back of the inkstone, the ink stone pattern is circular. This inkstone was originally placed in a black lacquered box, on which was pasted a yellow ink signature: “Shizong Xian Emperor 13”, and stamped with the seal of the House of Internal Affairs. It should be the inkstone used by Shizong during his lifetime. The so-called She Inkstone is named after it was produced in Shezhou. Its inkstone pits are mainly located in She County, Qimen, Anhui Province, Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province, and the Longwei Mountain (Luowen Mountain) along the river. She inkstone was famous in the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. The emperor of the Southern Tang Dynasty, Bao Zhi, was the official of inkstone. In the Song Dynasty, there were several times of mining, and beautiful rocks appeared. Scholars and scholars pushed and prepared them to the top. Its texture is planted with eyebrow, rib, brush silk, Venus, etc. In the Yuan Dynasty, stone pits were sunk underwater, and stone Suizhen was rare. However, according to the local chronicles, Shezhou paid three tribute each year in the Qing Dynasty, and each tribute had twenty-eight square meters of inkstones, most of which were Qimen Xiluo stones. From the perspective of this She Inkstone, a Qing Dynasty sculptor, it still has the charm of Su Dongpo’s Longwei Inkstone, “The blue water shines on the sky and the wind blows the clouds.”.
