The Qing Palace often used eggplant aloes to make ornaments. In the Qing Dynasty, the “Jianan Wood Carving with Longevity and Longevity Leading” was carved from a whole eggplant. In June of the first year of Emperor Yongzheng’s reign, there is a piece of white jade ribbon button with goose yellow ponytail ribbon; During the Qianlong period, there was also a “Ganan incense belt board, which could be made into two horsetail belts”. Such similar eggplant roots and yellow belts are just like our collections. This work was originally stored in the same brocade bundle with another work carved with the pattern of dragon playing with pearls (Qing Dynasty (Qing Dynasty), “Ganan Wood Carved Dragon Pattern Headband”, cultural relic uniform number: So Za 008204N000000000). Both of them are semi-finished products. They can only be used after being inlaid in the metal headband and fitted with a yellow ponytail belt.
