The Qing Palace often used eggplant aloes to make ornaments. Such pieces were carved from a whole eggplant. This work was originally stored in the same piece of brocade with the Qing Dynasty’s “Jianan Wood Carving, Longevity and Longevity Leading” (cultural relic uniform number: 008203N000000000). In June of the first year of Emperor Yongzheng’s reign, there is a piece of white jade ribbon button with goose yellow ponytail ribbon; During the Qianlong period, there was also a “Ganan incense belt board, which could be made into two horsetail belts”. Such similar eggplant roots and yellow belts are just like our collections. Carved patterns of dragon playing with pearl are semi-finished products. They can only be used after being inlaid on the metal head and fitted with a yellow horsetail belt.
