Dong Bangda (1699-1769 AD), a native of Fuyang, Zhejiang Province, has the name Fucun. In the 11th year of Emperor Yongzheng’s reign (1733), he was a scholar and an official in the Ministry of Rites. Dong Qichang was the master of landscape painting, and won the victory by the Yuan people’s ink and brush. Juyong Pass, located in Changping County, Hebei Province, is the main pass of the Great Wall, with towering mountains on both sides and overlapping green peaks. It is known as “Juyong Pass with emerald trees” and is one of the eight scenic spots in Yanjing. There is a 20 km long valley in the mountain, called “Guangou”. This picture overlooks the panorama. From the south to the north, it marks seven famous landscapes. The picture of peaks, mountains, streams and rocks is very spectacular.
