  • Dynasty: Qing dynasty
  • Category: Ceramics
  • Function: Container
  • Material: Minerals/Ceramics/
  • Description:
Long neck, sloping shoulders, short and large abdomen, slightly concave bottom, and shallow feet. The blue and white book “made in the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty” is printed on the bottom in two line regular script with double circles. The shape of this work is very similar to the glass bottle produced by the manufacturing office in the same period. Tracing back to the historical context can also echo the celadon paper mallet bottle of Ru kiln in the Northern Song Dynasty. The sky blue glaze color on the surface of the ware was first burned in the Kangxi period, so this article can be regarded as a work of Yongzheng official kiln combining antique shapes and Kangxi glaze colors.
