The sapphire is carved into an oval plate. The edge of the mouth is carved into a continuous arc, and the panel is decorated with various flower and leaf patterns by inlaying jasper pieces around the gold wire. The gold wire is made by wrapping the adhesive strip with gold foil. Due to years, many gold foils are damaged, making the disk slightly messy.
