  • Description:
It is carved from sapphire, with open, folded edges and shallow walls. It has a circle of feet. Two dragon heads are carved on both sides, and the remaining light is plain. The circle of feet has a “Jiaqing year system of Qing Dynasty” clerical script filled with gold. The round and simple dragon head lines, together with the upper folding edge and the plain and thick wall, show the simple and steady style of Jiaqing jade. According to the existing records in the Work File of the 11th to 25th year of Jiaqing (1806-1820), all kinds of jade washing, such as double ring washing or double fish washing, were made every year in the Jiaqing Dynasty, and the Beijing Palace Museum also received double ring washing during the Jiaqing period.
