  • Dynasty: Qing dynasty
  • Category: Jades
  • Function: furnishings
  • Material: Minerals/Jade Jewelry/Jade
  • Description:
Jade quality has a large dark brown color block, which is like being Qined, that is, what Qianlong called “Hetian Hanyu”. The shape of the utensil is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. The two sides of the utensil are in an outward arc. The utensil has a single hole and the upper edge is open. The decorative pattern imitates the face pattern of the people from the late Neolithic Age to the Xia Dynasty. The layout is loose, the structure is incomplete, and the copying is far worse than the similar devices with the number “Yun Zi No. 33” engraved with the poems made by the Emperor Qianlong in the 60th year. Both sides are engraved with regular script “made in the year of Qianlong” and “Tiao Zi No. 31”.
