    It is made of sapphire. One side line is carved with golden landscape characters, and two scholars enjoy the cool in the bamboos beside the river. The blank space is engraved with a poem inscribed by Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty in a gold clerical script: “The imperial poetry pavilion is vast, and who can sit and enjoy the cool. The ice plate is clustered with plum trees, and the stone path protects the floating bamboo trees. The boundary is extremely dusty and ethereal, and the calligraphy is fragrant. The picture of the Wangchuan River is spread, and the Heyang River has been known for a long time.” The poem was recorded in “Complete Works of Imperial Poems and Prose of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty – Three Episodes of Imperial Poems”, volume 97, page 24, “Collection of Paintings with Song Names – Guo Zhongshu’s Bamboo Forest Water Pavilion”, Xin Mao (the 36th year of Qianlong’s reign, 1771). It can be paired with Zhongyu 339 “Qing Qianlong Autumn Mountains Screen Insertion”.
