    It is made of sapphire. Flat pot shaped, with ears on the neck and shoulders, and a dragon top cover. The belly is round and the water birds on the bank are carved inside. This kind of theme, which originated in the flower and bird painting of the Song Dynasty, contains poetic and secluded ideas. During the Yuan and Ming dynasties, it was gradually applied to artifacts. It was often seen on porcelain in the Yongzheng Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, which had auspicious meanings. The bottom of the vessel is engraved with an inscription of “Qianlong Antique of the Qing Dynasty”.
