  The sapphire is grayish with black spots, white spots and grain patterns. The shape of the vessel imitates the bronze ware “plate”. The pattern and layout of the symmetrical Pisces in the center of the plate are similar to those of the Han Dynasty. The outer wall is decorated with ten sets of geometric patterns, which are hard and inflexible. The outer part of the double fish pattern is engraved with a seal script written in the imperial poem of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty in the 31st year: “The old tribute goes back and forth, and the tool is made according to the material. There are several groups of magpies in Africa, and there is a pair of fish. Who attacks the noble guest’s clip, can’t find the book of a distant guest. Zhongfu is like playing with an elephant, and he is cautious, virtuous and upright.” At the end of the book, it was signed with the seal of “Emperor Qianlong Bingxu Spring Imperial Title” and “Zhonghe”. The poem was recorded in “Complete Works of Imperial Poems and Prose of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty – Three Episodes of Imperial Poems”, volume 54, page 15, and “The Double Fish Jade Plate”, Bingxu (the 31st year of Qianlong’s reign). The bottom of the vessel is engraved with an inscription of “Qianlong Antique of the Qing Dynasty”.
