Blue jade may be a new style created by jade workers who once imitated the melon petal cups. There is no arris melon petal on the body, but it is similar to the short and thick eggplant growing in North China. A circle of vine flowers and leaves are carved on the upper and lower edges of the abdominal wall. The single handle is carved into rolled leaves. With the body, the foot ring at the bottom is carved into a pod shape, and the foot ring is carved with rough flower and leaf patterns. The legume shaped round foot is one of the characteristics of Türkiye’s artifacts. It is estimated that the jade worker who made this work has seen real Türkiye jade artifacts.
