Dong Gao (1740-1818 AD), a native of Fuyang, Zhejiang Province, was named Yalun and Sugarcane Forest. His father was Dong Bangda. He had a family background and was good at painting and calligraphy. In the 36th year of Qianlong’s reign, he entered the Southern Study, which was highly valued by Qianlong.
