- Description:
Jia Quan, during the Qianlong Dynasty (1736-1795), worshipped the imperial palace and was good at painting figures and horses. The Emperor Qianlong’s postscript was inscribed on the “Qianlong Year Imitation Chengxin Hall Paper”. After dyeing, waxing and calendering, the paper was smooth and tight, and the golden dragon pattern was painted on it, making it exquisite. Although different from Chengxin Hall paper, it shows the Qianlong Emperor’s imagination and creativity about ancient paper.
