    Chen Yixi (1648-1709 AD), who was also named Ziwen and Wenyi, was named Xiangquan, Fengshou and Haining salt official. His poems were appreciated by Wang Shizhen, and his calligraphy was highly valued by the Emperor Kangxi, so he entered Zhinan’s study as a tribute student. Calligraphy started with Dong Qichang, followed by Mi Fu. It is full of changes and mellow and beautiful. It is known as “the contemporary calligraphy is wonderful, and the domestic calligraphy is smooth”. It is called “Fragrant Spring Body”. The calligraphy of “Dream Molou Calligraphy” was once stored in the Inner Mansion during Yongzheng’s reign (1723-1735). The big characters in this work are calm and harmonious, and the structure has a subtle side effect.
