  • Description:
The bowl has a long mouth and a deep wall, and its bottom is connected with a pedestal. At the bottom of the pedestal is a six character seal character in the blue and white script “Made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty”. The inside and outside of the bowl are decorated with powder blue glaze. The curved bowl wall is arched with fish algae patterns. The base is decorated with yellow glaze. The glaze surface is decorated with brown, red, green, blue and other glazes. Then the lotus petal pattern, Ruyi cloud pattern and brocade flower are depicted. The design is added with a gold border to make it have the texture like a metal tool. The bowls and seats are formed and fired separately, and then connected with tenons to form a rotating bowl that can be played and appreciated. The porcelain that Tang Ying presented in the eighth year of Qianlong’s reign included a “holly bowl with a rotating target”. Although the archives are limited to the record of the name of the product, the comparison with the real object makes people associate with this work in any case.
