In the Qianlong official kiln, there are two types of works, simple in shape and ingenious in shape. Those with simple shapes often decorate the surface with complicated patterns to show the characteristics of pattern winning. This piece of work has a round opening light with a hanging gall shaped belly. Basket flowers are painted inside. In addition to the opening light, different patterns such as dot patterns, Ruyi cloud patterns, and small flowers are painted. The size of the patterns varies. However, due to the meticulous brushwork, exquisite layout, and the changes in colors such as blue, gold, brown, yellow, and pink green, the whole porcelain painting has a colorful and lively atmosphere. As the decorative motif of porcelain, the basket flowers can be dated back to the Wanli official kiln in the late Ming Dynasty. Although there is no clear data to explain whether the emergence of such themes is related to works such as Vase Flora, placing the inserted flower basket on the table, in addition to providing the appreciation function
