This bowl has a long mouth, a deep arc wall and a short circle. The inside of the utensil is plain without lines, and one side of the outer wall is painted with several pink, white and purple lotus flowers, and there are large and delicate lotus leaves. On the other side of the outer wall, there are two lines written in ink: “Make up looks beautiful in the morning, and fragrance follows the evening wind.” The lines are from the couplet of the five character verse of Shen Shixing’s Lotus in the Ming Dynasty. There are three red ink seals in front of the poem, “beautiful woman”, and behind it, “Binran” (in white) and “gentleman”.
