Low mouth, curved shallow wall, short circle foot. The carcass is slightly thick, the outer wall is painted with white material, and the color paintings are roses, morning glory and daisies. White glaze is applied on the inner surface without decorative patterns. “Made by Emperor Kangxi” four character red Song typeface with double boxes. Matteo Ripa (1682-1745) once wrote in his diary that he and Lang Shining were ordered to try painting enamel in the Qing Palace, during which he also referred to European enamel ware and glazed porcelain handed down in the Qing Palace. The surface of this work is painted with white material as the bottom, which is similar to the process of painting enamel with copper body, and reflects the situation of imitating copper body techniques when enamel colored porcelain is being researched and created. In particular, the two red roses in the pattern are half open and one blossoming.
