The blue white jade was originally carved into a lace disc with two handles. The two handles have been broken and the fracture has not been carefully polished. A circle of short petals is carved on the circumference, and grooves are carved on both sides of each petal, but only the front is embedded with gold wire in the straight grooves. In the center of the disc, a small flower bouquet is inlaid with gray metal wire and ruby. Gold foil may have been coated on the metal wire, but most of the gold foil has fallen off at present.
