In the waterside house, the two old men were reading and talking, while the boy outside the house leaned over to watch the man who was catching the goose across the bridge. The trees in front of the house are luxuriant, the old trees on the bank are in shade, the geese are swimming in the water, and the paint layers change a lot. The water waves and the ground are covered with brocade. The objects are arranged compactly, and the theme of Xizhi changing geese is a typical carved lacquer style of the Qianlong period.
