• Description:
  The bottle has a short neck, long belly and short legs. The bottle is painted with farmer, shepherd boy and cattle. Swallows, hearts, green willows and slope stones are interspersed among the figures. The painting is inscribed with “Yan in the New Society of Scenery, Old Spring Farming in the Season” in ink. Before and after the inscription, “Renhua”, “Degao” and “Zhiyuan” are respectively depicted in red ink. At the end of the inscription, the four character regular script of the Song Dynasty is written in blue ink. The enamel colored porcelain of the Qianlong period inherited the tradition of the previous dynasties, looked at the surface as a picture, tried to imitate the pattern of literati paintings, and arranged poems, calligraphy, paintings and idle chapters on the surface.
