- Description:
Carved lacquer box, red, yellow and green lacquer. Octagonal box, child and mother mouth, arc wall, circle foot. The box surface is carved with red lacquer octagonal patterns, each with a green lacquer chrysanthemum. The square interior ochre “Swastika” character is formed at the junction of octagonal patterns. Each side of the box is carved with the oblique swastika characters between six flower brocades. The rest of the box is used as a six flower brocade field. The bottom is painted with black light.
