The rectangular corner box is decorated with flowers with branches at the bottom, and the side is opened to imitate the style of the Jiajing and Wanli periods. The box cover is also decorated with the patterns of mountains, seas, dragons and phoenixes that were common in the Jiajing and Wanli periods. However, the patterns of waves turn round. The shapes of dragons and phoenixes are more regular, and their momentum is different from that of the late Ming Dynasty.
