In the 18th century of the Qing Dynasty, “Bamboo Root Carved Cowboy Lying on a Cow”, a cowherd with a round bamboo root was carved. The cowherd with a bun on his head and a hat on his back sat on the back of the cow leisurely. The left hand led the rope straight through the nose of the cow, and the right hand held the horn of the cow. Looking down, he vividly expressed the interaction between the cowherd and the cow. In addition, the fiber texture of bamboo itself is used to skillfully show the texture of cow hair, which is a round sculpture of bamboo roots with sophisticated techniques.
