Blue and white round bellied pot, with lotus bud shaped buttons on the top, decorated with Ruyi patterns for a week, and other patterns of twining branches and lotus flowers; The neck of the pot is decorated with curly grass patterns, the shoulder has a Ruyi pattern, the lower edge is a lotus petal pattern, and the rest is painted with tangled branches and lotus flowers; At the bottom of the pot is a blue and white seal script made in Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty. The two sides of the pot belly are open, and the poem “Cooking Tea” written in regular script in October of the second year of Jiaqing (1797) is included in Volume XV of the First Collection of Imperial Poems. The shape of this pot continued during the reign of Qianlong. However, according to the edict of the fifth year of Jiaqing (1800), it was requested not to burn the Jiaqing tea ware with the poems made by the Emperor Qianlong, and it was stated that “I will send the poems made by the Emperor Qianlong in the future, and then write them in calligraphy”. Since then, the Jiaqing Dynasty used this poem to make all kinds of tea vessels. In addition to the foreign colored teapots, there were also tea plates, covered bowls, etc.
