The carved lacquer small box is vermilion in color. Six petal sunflower type, with a mother and child mouth, and a lid approximately equal to the vessel. The cover is carved with a flower core and six petals are left rotated outward. The body is also decorated with petals. The inside of the vessel was painted black, and the inside of the lid was engraved with gold regular script “made in the year of Qianlong”. There is a small jade ornament with a flower inside, with a wooden seat attached. This piece was included in the Dobboge “Jiqiongzao” made in the Qianlong period. According to the original two layers of 73 pieces contained in the Jiqiongzao booklet, they were stored in wooden boxes inlaid with animal bones in Luodian.
