The skull bowl is yellow in color. The rim of the mouth and inside of the bowl are painted with black paint. No decorative patterns can be seen inside or outside. The yellow label on the inside said, “No. 5, one Gabla bowl, in black lacquer.” The Gabla bowl is made from the skull of a person who made a vow before his death. After strict examination and approval by the Great Lama, it is made into a utensil and presented to the Buddha.
