Skim mouth, deep arc wall, short circle foot. The outer wall is decorated with rouge red glaze, the inner part of the vessel and the foot are decorated with white glaze, and the inner wall is decorated with double cloud dragon pattern under the white glaze. The walls are thin and transparent, and the white glaze inside the vessel is as congealed as sheepskin white jade, while the carmine glaze is nearly purple. The blue and white book “made in the year of Yongzheng” has four characters and two lines in regular script, plus two sides of the box. The carmine glaze, also known as rose, rose and magenta, was introduced from the West during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. It was obtained by baking twice at low temperature with a trace of gold as the color developer.
