  • Description:
Low mouth, deep wall, high circle foot. Both the inner and outer walls of the utensil and the foot wall were tapered with a pattern of twining lotus flowers. The bottom of the outer wall of the utensil near the foot circle was decorated with a circle of deformed lotus petals. The inner bottom is printed with “made in the year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty” double circle regular script. The fetal soil is white, thin and firm, and the glaze is sweet white. The so-called semi bodiless technique refers to the technique of scraping off more than half of the fetal bone after the sweet white glaze is applied to the preform. The thin fetal bone makes the two layers of glaze on the inner and outer walls almost sinter together, making them bright and transparent.
